We organize for just and humane immigration reform, and against programs that force local police to act as immigration officers. We organize workshops and discussion groups to increase awareness about immigration laws, proposed policy changes, and other issues important to our community members, many of whom live in fear, separated from their families and exploited by their employers.
We also advocate for improved services and resources for new immigrants and refugees, including extended support for refugees and the removal of 5-year ban on public benefits eligibility.
